...three views are supposed to be 3 views of the same plane. Not 3 pictures of 3 different airplanes. Also: none of those are A320s

At least they're all airliners. Would have been funny if one of the pics was of a Cessna 172.

Fox News. That's all that needs to be said.

787, 777-300 and A380.
Ah I love the media. Reporting on things with no immediate on-hand technical knowledge.

"News" and "Accuracy"?
I bet you want cake and want to eat it as well.

"Holds 150-179 passengers. Has somewhere between 1 and 4 engines"

Eh, CNN is just as bad too (if were sticking with the subject of aircraft)
Not even going to mention MSNBC. LOLZ

I immediately thought it was FOX news from the first picture on the page and when I clicked and got the whole image, well, there it was FOX news. Fairly unbalanced. How's that for givinng someone a chance and then saying, "Yeah, i shouldnt have given them a chance again"
Aviation analysts are hit and miss but at least FOX news is consistently all miss. Anybody want disaster comedy? I know what channel to turn to...

Male possibly female, between 5 foot and 6 foot-4 inches. Either light to medium or dark complected. With dark hair or bald, possibly blond.

What is that dimension in the top right even measuring?

Ha, or a warplane that's famous enough non-enthusiasts would have heard of it like a Blackbird or Nighthawk.

I was watching How It's Made Dream Cars: Porsche 911
When they started installing 'exhaust pipes' under the floor pan that run from the front to the back of the car, I coughed and gagged and had to finally change the channel .
I guess the 911 is the only car with the engine in the back and the mufflers in the front.

wtf is that upper right picture supposed to show? Wingspan of what appears to be an a380?
![]() 12/31/2014 at 09:15 |

It's supposed to be wingspan of an A320, which is what the number is. That's just not what a 3 view looks like, this is:
I've actually done these professionally too, but those had a ton more information and dimensions

Wingspan I presume.
For some reason that reminds me: I went to an air show and the air force had a jet dragster. They were giving out postcards of it with stats. One was 'Acceleration: Speeds over 200mph!'
I actually told the recruiter it was wrong, and he just gave me an angry look

After being bitched at in high school drafting class, incorrect multiviews are my trigger.
![]() 12/31/2014 at 12:41 |

Correct and incorrect in school for drafting is kinda silly. The 'correct' way to do it will be the company standard wherever you end up working, and there will be plenty of examples to go off of. I never had to know what was correct, I just looked at an older 3 view and copied it
![]() 12/31/2014 at 14:10 |

That's what I ended up doing because the 'correct' way (which I was graded off several times despite having all features dimensioned) was incredibly vague and I think the teacher was just fudging it. I just asked nicely for an example and did exactly what it had on it.
